Mercy Ride

Imagine the open road, the sun on your face and the wind in your hair. Cruising along on your motorcycle joined by 75 other riders all coming together for one common cause.

Throw out any preconceptions of who you think will be here because you will find everyone from politicians to career bikers. Yet it happens every year with The Salvation Army's Mercy Ride

So what is the Mercy Ride all about?

Mercy Ride is an annual fundraiser (now in it's 5th year) for the Salvation Army Gateway of Hope, located in Langley BC. Money raised helps to interrupt the cycle of homelessness by providing guests with food, shelter and even some vocational training. Guests are given a safe place to go, where each person's needs are looked at individually aiding them to move forward in life.

Everyone here has a different reason for being a part of this ride. In the end though all that matters is that by participating each and ever rider has made a difference.
