A Boy Named What?

My daughters hamster reminds me of the famous song, "A boy named Sue".

Let me take you back a couple weeks.....

There I was at work (I run a thrift store) when in came a very pink hamster cage. Oh so pink and girly, it would be perfect for Lil Miss!

Mister had recently gotten a hamster for his birthday and Lil Miss was asking for one too.  I thought hey this could work well... It was the perfect bribery  incentive to get her to keep her room clean.

So yes I bought the very pink girly hamster cage showed it to Lil Miss and let her know what it was going to take for that cage to have a pet in it.

Much to my surprise delight it worked! She had immediately gone and picked up her room and even kept it clean. I only wish I had thought of it sooner.

Last night it was off to the pet store to look for the new found friend for my daughter. It didn't take long for her to spot one that she rather immediately fell in love with. And how could she not spot the hamster he's the size of a guinea pig!

I know you think I am exaggerating here but I'm not. This thing is huge!

The store clerk asked Lil Miss what she was going to call it and Lil Miss never missed a beat when she proudly announced "Daisy Husha!"

Did I mention the hamster that suffers from a slight form of giantism is also a boy? And yes Daisy lives in a very pink very girly cage.

While I think he looks more like a Bob, it is Lil Miss's pet and well what can I say he's a boy named Daisy Husha.
